An evangelist is one who brings the Good News of Our Lord, God and Savior Jesus Christ. A missionary is an evangelist who is sent to bring the Gospel to a non-Christian culture, people group, or area.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are the Four Evangelists who wrote the Gospels.
