This category is for issues pertaining to heresy in the Christian world. Inclusion in this category is not necessarily a statement that the issue at hand qualifies as heresy but at least that the question has been raised regarding whether it may be heretical, and the Church has either affirmed that it is heretical or has not yet declared it to be non-heresy.

For instance, while hesychasm was declared heretical by some in the 14th century, the Church has clearly ruled that it is not, so it would not be included in this category. Similarly, ecumenism is considered a heresy by many Orthodox Christians, but there has not been a Church-wide conciliar statement on the issue, so it would be included in this category. Arianism was declared a heresy by the First Ecumenical Council, so it would also be included.
