His Grace Bishop Ezekiel of Dervis, celebrating the 'Agape Vespers' (Vespers of Love) service, 2008

His Grace Ezekiel of Dervis is currently the titular bishop of Dervis, serving as the auxiliary bishop to Archbishop Stylianos of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia, responsible for the Second Archdiocesan District of Victoria and Tasmania.

His Grace Ezekiel was born in Akrita Kilkis, Macedonia, in 1938. After his graduation from Constantinople's Theological School of Halki, he was ordained to the diaconate in July and went to Sydney to serve the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia around 1960. He was ordained to the priesthood and assigned to the Greek Orthodox Church in Dubbo, NSW, and soon after to All Saints Church in Belmore, Sydney (~1962).

He remained at All Saints for 15 years until he was elected Titular Bishop of Dervis on 1 March 1977, as auxiliary bishop to Archbishop Stylianos. He was assigned to Perth to serve the Church in Western Australia; after three years of service he was assigned to Adelaide. In 1984, Bishop Ezekiel was assigned to Melbourne, where he has served in the Archdiocese ever since.
