His Eminence Myron (Ktistakis) is the Metropolitan of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of New Zealand.

Biographical Timeline

  • 1969: Born.
  • Graduated from the Agricultural University of Athens.
  • Completed Postgraduate studies at the Mediterranean Agnonomic Institue in Chania.
  • Tonsured a monk at the Monastery of Agarathos, in Crete.
  • Elevated to archimandrite.
  • Graduated from the Theological School of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens.
  • Graduated from the Medical School of the University of Crete.
  • 2002: Present in New Zealand as an envoy for the enthronement of Metropolitan Joseph.
  • 2018 May: Consecrated to the episcopacy.
