Maximus III of Constantinople
Our father among the saints Maximus III was Patriarch of Constantinople from 1476 to 1481. Little is known of his life or time as patriarch. He was considered a scholar and an ascetic hierarch, who acted with wisdom during his time as patriarch after the Fall of Constantinople. His feast day is November 17.
