Saint Theodora of Thessalonica is commemorated by the Church on April 5.
The name "Theodora"
The name 'Theodora' is Greek and means 'gift of God'.
Special Notes
- The date or place of her birth are not known.
- She should not be confused with the other St Theodora of Thessalonica who is commemorated by the Church August 29. The latter, originally was from Aigina, Greece and died in 892 AD.
