The '''Eastern Orthodox Committee on Scouting''' was one of the first cross-[[jurisdiction]]al ventures of the Orthodox Churches in North America. It was created in 1960 by the Standing Conference of Orthodox Bishops in the Americas, ([[SCOBA]]) to have Scouting become a part of the youth programs of local churches in North America. In 2010 it became an an agency of the [[Episcopal Assembly of North and Central America]].
