James is the name of a number of saints and ecclesiastical figures in the Orthodox Church.
It is worth noting that, in Greek and Hebrew, there is no distinction between 'Jacob' and 'James' (much like there is no distinction between 'Joshua' and 'Jesus'); however, in English, this distinction tends to delineate people from Old Testament and New Testament times.
Saints
- Apostle James the Just
- St James the Faster
- Apostle James (son of Zebedee)
- St James the Ascetic
- Apostle James (son of Alphaeus)
