My blog is [http://pistevo.blogspot.com/ Chanters Pray Twice] (a reference to a [[Augustine of Hippo|St Augustine]] quote), where you can find out more about me, albeit in a fairly diving-in-the-deep-end kinda way. I also have a [[w:User:Pistevo|userpage]] with a lot of userboxes on [[w:Main_Page|Wikipedia]]. Also, contrary to popular assumption, I'm male.
I am an Orthodox residing in Australia, hence my interest in the [[Orthodoxy in Australasia|Church in Australia and its near neighbours]]. Noticing the lack of information about Orthodoxy in Australia on OrthodoxWiki, I decided that the situation wasn't going to improve without personally doing something about it. A similar motivation was involved in adopting the featured articles (particularly as I seem to have exhausted most available information about Australasia), and in deciding to write up important biographies, particularly of ascetics (mainly because those are available to me).
