*2004: Hieromonk and superior at the hermitage.*2009: Hermitage of the Holy Cross became an independent monastery. Bp George made abbot; Fr Seraphim made deputy abbot.*2011: Fr Seraphim diagnosed with kidney cancer*2012: Fr Seraphim diagnosed with squamous cell cancer in his right tonsil. Subsided in 2012, reappeared in Oct 2013.*2014: With the financial aid of the [[Fund For Assistance]], Fr Seraphim underwent multiple aggressive rounds of chemotherapy. He returned to serving at Pascha 2014.*2015: With Bp George's transfer to the Australian and New Zealand Diocese, Fr Seraphim to become abbot.
