The Holy Diocese of Burundi and Rwanda is a diocese under the jurisdiction of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa. Its territory includes the parishes and missions located in the countries of Burundi and Rwanda and a large area of the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The Diocese of Burundi and Rwanda was established by a Patriarchal and Synodal decree on October 6, 2009 with its see located in the capital city Bujumbura.
