On 21 May 1967 he was ordained titular Bishop of Catania, Auxiliary Bishop of the [[Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America‎|Archdiocese of America]].

He was Vicar Houston (1967-1970) Buenos ~~Floods~~ Aires (1970-1974) and Charlotte (1974-1977).

In 1977 he withdrew active service.
