Born in Jeffersonville, Indiana , in the 1950s and baptized in the [[Roman Catholic Church]], he later became a Pentecostal Christian, attending an Assembly of God church in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma , and for a period of time before his conversion to the Orthodox Church taught [[Old Testament]] at there. He later attended [[St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary (Crestwood, New York)|St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary]] in Crestwood, New York , where he earned an a M.Th. degree.
Later ordained a [[deacon]] and [[priest]] in the Antiochian Archdiocese, he served as pastor of St. John's Antiochian Orthodox Church in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Later he served at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan , before he was elected [[bishop]] by the local synod of the Antiochian Archdiocese and consecrated in Damascus in December of 2004.
His Grace has yet to be enthroned in his [[cathedral]], though the enthronement will probably take place sometime in 2005.
