== Early life ==
He was born in Požarevac 1846, into family of Stojan and Milosava Pavlović. He finished primary and high school in Belgrade. He graduated in Old Seminary in Belgrade 1868. He was teacher until 1870, when he is ordained presbyter and aponte as a chaplan in Lapovo.
Becoming widower 1873, he continued his education in Belgrade University (in this times ''Grand School'') . He graduated from philology. Fr. Dimitrije was teacher in Belgrade Seminary from 1878 to 1884.
