A [[convert]] from [[Roman Catholic Church|Catholicism]], I was [[chrismation|chrismated]] on [[January 25]], 2004, the [[feast day]] of St. [[Gregory the Theologian]]. I chose the name ''Magdalene'' for my middle name to honor my patron saint, St. [[Mary Magdalene]], whose [[feast day]] is [[July 22]].
My husband and I were married on [[July 24]], 2004, at St. [[Apostle Andrew|Andrew]] Greek Orthodox Church ([http://www.orthodoxchurchofstandrew.org/ official site]) of South Bend, Indiana, by Fr. George Konstantopoulos.

My husband came from Romania approximately nine years agoto pursue undergraduate studies. His most recent degree is a doctorate in computer science. At Holy Cross, he participates in the school's soccer and basketball teams. He enjoys chanting, working for the Church, and sharing really bad puns. He is nigh invulnerable and quite tall, both on purpose.
My husband's parish assignment is at St. [[Basil the Great|Vasilios]] Greek Orthodox Church ([http://www.stvasilios.org official site]) in Peabody, Massachusetts.
