The GTAN team is led by Fr. Maximus Regis Urbanowicz, [[evangelist]] and [[missionary]], who has undertaken missions to many countries of Eastern Europe and Asia since 2003, including [[Church of Ukraine|Ukraine]], Belarus, [[Church of Russia|Russia]], Pakistan, the Republic of [[Church of Georgia|Georgia]], and Sakhalin Island in the Russian far east.
GTAN is part of the [[Orthodox Church in America]] and is under the [[omophorion]] of the office of the Metropolitan [[Jonah (Paffhausen) of Washington|Jonah]].
