The '''Diocese of the West''' is a [[diocese]] of the [[Orthodox Church in America]]. Its territory includes [[parish]]es and missions located in nine states in the United States – California, Oregon, Hawaii, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, Montana, and Colorado. (Idaho is within its territory but currently has no parishes.) The diocesan seat is San Francisco.

The diocese is currently under the leadership of His Grace, the Right Reverend [[Benjamin (Peterson) of San Francisco|Benjamin (Peterson)]]. He was consecrated as a [[bishop]] on [[May 1]], 2004, and installed as the ruling bishop of the diocese of the West on [[October 2]], 2007.
