+ | Whoops!! We need to get our Ivans straight. Ivan III (1462 - 1505) was NOT "the Terrible", that "honor" goes to Ivan IV who gain appellation "the Terrible". Whoops!! We need to get our Ivans straight. Ivan III (1462 - 1505) was NOT "the Terrible", that "honor" goes to Ivan IV who gain appellation "the Terrible". Any good Russian history book can be used for a reference. Mine in the History of Russia by Paul Miliukov, et al.Wsk 20:13, April 5, 2008 (UTC)
