Talk:Holy Synod of Milan
I changed the number of dioceses listed according to this page from the SoM itself, which lists one ruling bishop in Italy and four in America. --Rdr. Andrew 06:52, 24 Mar 2005 (CST)
This page (http://www.onr.com/user/milan) is two years out of date. Check the Italian website for up to date info - four dioceses in Europe and four in America.
- Thanks for the note. Most of us probably don't read Italian and so aren't checking that part of the site. --Rdr. Andrew 21:29, 24 Mar 2005 (CST)
The new official Web Site of the Holy Synod of Milan is the following: www.ortodossi.ue
- Hmm, I just checked that link because I was going to add it to the article, and I can't find such a page. The only other website for an Orthodox church in Milan that I can find belongs to the Moscow patriarchate. What am I doing wrong? Also, please don't forget to sign your comments w/ 4~s. Thanks! Rollback 29/Feb/08
The reason this was rolled back was that it has nothing directly to do with the Holy Synod of Milan. The canonicity of a Church is a separate, contentious issue that, perhaps, should have its own article (probably best patrolled by the theologically qualified), but the current status (particularly in light of the M part of the MCB)is plain. — by Pιsτévο talk complaints at 18:04, February 29, 2008 (PST)
Delete or Redirect
delete or redirct requested -- basically the same article as Autonomous Orthodox Church of Milan of and Western Europe and Canada. Angellight 888 08:59, September 12, 2013 (HST)
- Hi Angellight - I've redirected the 'Autonomous...' article to this one, because this one was the original and has, IMHO, the most recognisable name. — by Pιsτévο talk complaints at 22:59, October 1, 2013 (HST)
