'''Dormition Skete''' is a [[monasticism|monastic]] community located near Buena Vista, Colorado. The [[skete]] was founded in 1979 under the [[Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia]], then later affiliated with a two different Greek [[Old Calendarists|Old Calendarist]] jurisidictionjurisidictions, followed by a Russian one (the [[Russian Orthodox Autonomous Church]]), and is now the headquarters of the [[Genuine Orthodox Church of America]], an independent group which recognizes the Orthodoxy of only itself and the [[Genuine Orthodox Church of Greece (Lamian Synod)|Genuine Orthodox Church of Greece]], with which it is in communion.
