Elder '''Joseph of Vatopedi''' (gr: Ιωσήφ ο Βατοπαιδινός; 1921-2009) a [[disciple]] of Saint [[Joseph the Hesychast]], and was a noted [[monasticism|monastic]] of twentieth century [[Mount Athos]]. He has been regarded as one of the few remaining true Athonite elders before his repose.
