==Life==
[[Saint]] Trophimus was from the city of Edessa. He was a disciple to and companion of the [[Apostle Paul]]. He is mentioned in [[Acts of the Apostles|Acts]] 20:4 and in Saint Paul’s Second Epistle to Timothy (2 Tim. 4:20).
He gave up his life and became become a [[martyr]] under the Emperor Nero.
