The words of the Cherubic Hymn are as follows:And in Arabic باللغة العربية:"We, who mystically represent the [[Cherubim]], أيُّها الممثلونَ الشيروبيم سرِّياً :And chant the [[trisagion|thrice-holy hymn]] to the Life-giving [[Trinity]], والمرنِّمونَ التسبيحَ المثلَّث تقديسُهُ للثالوث المُحيي:Let us set aside the cares of life لِنَطرحْ عنَّاالآنَ كلَّ إهتمتمٍ دنيوي:That we may receive the King of all, إذ أنَّنا مُزمِعونَ أَنْ نستقبِلَ مَلِكَ الكل:Who comes invisibly escorted by the Divine Hosts." تَحفُّ بهِ المراتبُ الملائكيَّةُ بحالٍ غيرِ منظور . هلَّلوييا
Though the actual text is short, the hymn lasts for quite a while due to its drawn-out, ethereal style. It is our best imitation of and supplement to the singing of the Heavenly Hosts.
