In Constantine Cavarnos' book ''Father Georges Florovsky on Ecumenism'', there is a section entitled "A Note on Protopresbyter Georges Vasilievich Florovsky." --[[User:Fr Lev|Fr Lev]] 00:11, April 7, 2009 (UTC)

Revision as of 00:11, April 7, 2009

Fr Georges should be referred as Archpriest (which corresponds to his rank in Russian: Протоиерей) instead of Protopresbyter, as Archpriest is one rank lower than Protopresbyster in the Slavic tradition. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Stmitrophan (talkcontribs) .

Do we have a source cited for either rank? —Fr. Andrew talk contribs (THINK!) 11:29, April 6, 2009 (UTC)
