The New Testament Canonisation

Are there any sources that show that the New Testament was discussed and approved at the First Council. I am trying to ascertain when it became formally announced.Thomas Simmons 21:21, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

It was not. The first list of books matching the NT canon is found in an epistle by St Athanasius dated 367. --Fr Lev 22:50, December 18, 2008 (UTC)
