The first graduate of the Institute to be [[ordination|ordained]] to the [[priest]]hood later became [[Archbishop]] [[Peter (L'Huillier) of New York|Peter]] of New York, in the [[Orthodox Church in America]].
Today the Institute is linked to functions under the auspices of the [[Orthodox Church of France only and no recognition of its diploma ]]. It is accepted not currently recognized as an Orthodox seminary by the other orthodox seminaries and institutescanonical Orthodox churches.
