The Monastery of St. John the Theologian (Souroti) is located near Thessalonica in Greece. The Elder Paisios of Mount Athos upon his repose on July 12, 1994 was buried according to his wish at the Monastery, next to the church of St. Arsenios the Cappadocian.
The Monastery of St. John is an associated monastery of Mount Athos.
