I am a Russian teacher who has lived in London for 20 years. Together with family and friends we make videos YouTube.com/user/LearnRussianLanguage to help students learn Russian. I have made arrangements with native English speakers to make free English teaching videos which will be available on YouTube, etc.

I started making my first site in January 2010 LearnRussianSpeakRussian.org. However I realised that I need other teachers to help me and therefore I am trying to make other sites, where teachers will be able to post their lessons as well.

I also want to make a wiki site wikiTranslate.org to enable language students to make translations of folk songs, fairy-tales, cartoons and prayers, etc. of a target language to their native language and other way around. I will encourage students to make subtiltes for the cartoons, songs, films, etc. as well. I hope that in the process of this work the users of this wiki will make friends and start having conversations not only on the wiki site, but on skype, etc.

The rules of the sites will be simple: no nakedness (for videos) and no swearing (since it promotes violence). The direct method of teaching will be preferred.
