Our father among saints Varnava (Nastić) (''in Serbian:'''''Свети Варнава Нови Исповједник''') was auxilary bishop of Hvosno. His feast is [[October 30]] in Julian Calendar. This glorius hierarch was born in Gary, Indiana, [[January 31]], 1914. into family of Serbian emigrants Atanasije and Zorka Nastić. He was born Vojislav Nastić. When Vojislav was child, his parents left USA for their homeland. He graduate high school in Sarajevo 1933, he continued his education at the Orthodox Theological Faculty in Belgrade, graduating in 1937. After Graduating he was catechist in two high shools in Sarajevo. Vojislav took monastic vows in Mileševa Monastery 1940 and was given name Varnava. Varnava was ordained [[hierodeacon]] by Metropoliten [[Petar (Zimonjić) of Dabar-Bosna|Petar the New Martyr]]. Deacon Varnava stayed in Sarajevo during the war. Croatian faschists wanted to force him to becam of co called ''"Croatian Orthodox Church"'' on faschist creation organised in order to destroy Serbian population in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Fr. Varnava cathegoricly refused this. Soon he left Sarajevo in order to save live.
After war he was ordained hieromonk and raised protosyncellos by bishop Nektarije of Zvornik and Tuzla. In it's first regular sesion Holy Assembly of Serbian Orthodox Church elected Fr. Varnava Auxilary Bishop of Serbain Patriarch with title vicar bishop of Hvosno. He was given administration of Dioces Dabar-Bosna. He is cosecrated by Patriarch Gavrilo, Bishop Nektarije, and Bishop Vikentije of Zletovo and Strumica [[May 20]], 1947
