Local records relating to his deposition and exile are held in the Archives of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia.
Access is severely restricted.

- I'd not be surprised either way - this would explain the lack of picture on the website, for example. But, this being an encyclopedia, we can only work with verifiable information. --— by Pιsτévο talk complaints at 09:19, May 7, 2006 (CDT)
There was a fair bit in the Daily Telegraph at the time, and a little bit in the Sydney Morning Herald. The SMH said he "practised the Greek vice". The Telegraph said he was deposed for "Gross Depravity".
The Greek community in Australia was in uproar over his misbehaviour at the time and just about unanimously demanded his deposition.
Clippings from the relevant newspapers formed part of an appendix in an unpublished Masters(Honours) thesis in Sydney in 1998.
The newspaper articles should still be available from the newspapers.

- Clever, though ironic, euphemism. I'll change any articles that need it. --— by Pιsτévο talk complaints at 10:26, May 7, 2006 (CDT)
Small Jurisdiction
I think the Moscow Patriarchate is hardly a "small jurisdiction". I also think its entry into Australia where ROCOR already had a strong presence is quite significant. I did not delete the heading about the Theological School, so I also think your comments about the Theological School are irrelevant in this context.
But a matter for you of course.

- The 'local theological school' header was made so small as to be irrelevant - the presence of a local college, training clergy, is a great event in the foundation of the Church in a location.
- I also don't see how the Moscow Patriarchate parishes can be anything but a small jurisdiction. There are three parishes (none of which rivalling the size of Hillsong), no local bishop, exarch or centralised local authority. While I do not know specifics of the entry of the MP into Australia, it seems quite plausible that it began in a similar way to OCA's beginning in Australia, thus not being terribly significant in its own right. — edited by Pιsτévο at 03:01, June 5, 2006 (CDT)
I prefer to be eirenaical rather than warlike, so I will not go further with this discussion except to say that the header remained the same size it was before, and is now. The size of the header was not changed. The size of the header after my edit was the same as the size of the header before. The size of the header remains now as it was then. There has been no change in the size of the header whatsoever. I did not alter the size of the header in any way whatever. The history shows the size of the header has not changed. You 'misrepresent me' by suggesting this. chrisg 2006-06-05-2244
- I think instead of the font size of the header, what Pistevo was referring to was rather the content under the header. —Dcn. Andrew talk random contribs 09:15, June 5, 2006 (CDT)
