There are over 6,000 of these names attributed to the Theotokos. Most of these have been received through a vision such as the appearance of the Virgin to a saint of the Orthodox church (eg. Apostle Luke or Saint Pelagia), the random appearance of the icon and some of these from her faithful church and people all over the world.
