==Life==
Sotirios Papanakos was born in 1931 in Pireaus near Athens, Greece. After completing his theological education in Athens, he was [[ordination|ordained]] a [[deacon]] in 1966 with the name Titus, followed later in 1966 with his ordination to the [[priest]]hood. After his election in 1974, Fr. Titus was [[consecration of a bishop|consecrated]] Metropolitan of Paramythia, Philiata, Geromerion, and Parga on [[July 17]], 1974.
