The '''''Ecclesiastical History of the English People''''' (in Latin, '''''Historia ecclesiastica gentis Anglorum''''' ) is a work in Latin by the [[Bede|Venerable Bede]] on the history of the Christian church in England and of England generally.

The ''History'' includes many [[hagiography|saints' lives]] as well as descriptions of other major events in English Christianity, and it is considered one of the most important primary sources on Anglo-Saxon history.  It is believed to have been written in 731, when Bede was approximately 60 years old.
