The Holy Metropolis of Nigeria and the Gulf of Guinea is a diocese under the jurisdiction of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa. Its territory includes the parishes and missions located in the nations of Nigeria, Niger, Benin, and Togo.

The see of Nigeria was established as Diocese of Nigeria together with the Diocese of Ghana on September 23, 1997 under the Metropolis of Cameroon by a Patriarchal and Synodal Decree. Subsequently, the see was raised to the dignity of an archdiocese in October 2004.

Its sole hierarch, Alexandros (Gianniris), ruled for 26 years until his repose in 2023.
