Little is known of his life. Michael Ivanchenko was born on [[November 9]], 1884.<ref>[http://www.thrall.org/obitdb/search.pl?query=van  Record #293 Middletown Thrall Library, Middletown, NY]</ref> He was [[consecration of a bishop|consecrated]] on [[April 17]], 1966 as an [[auxiliary bishop]] under [[Metropolitan]] [[John (Wendland) of New York and the Aleutians|John (Wendland) of New York]], Patriarchal [[Exarch]] of The Russian Orthodox Church in America.
