Following the restoration of communion between ROCOR and the [[Church of Russia]] the [[Holy Synod]] of the Russian Orthodox Church on [[May 16]], 2007 appointed Bp. Evtikhy Bishop of Domodedovo, a [[vicar]] of the Moscow [[diocese]], and entrusted him with temporary pastoral care of the former parishes of the ROCOR in Russia for five years in accordance with the [[Act of Canonical Communion with the Moscow Patriarchate|Act of Canonical Communion]].
June 7, 2012 for health reasons bishop Eutychius was retire by his own petition.
