His Eminence, the Most Reverend '''Dimitry (Magan) of BostonPhiladelphia''' was a hierarch of the [[Orthodox Church in America|Russian Metropolia]] in North America who served as both [[archbishop]] of Boston and of Philadelphia. His secular name was Eugene Magan.
AbpUpon his arrival in the United States from Europe in 1948, Bp. Dimitry was Archbishop appointed Bishop of Boston from 1937 to 1959. Later he was Archbishop Canada under the [[jurisdiction]] of Philadelphia and Pennsylvaniathe Russian Metropolia.
Later, he was appointed Archbishop of Boston where he remained until 1959. He was then appointed Archbishop of Philadelphia and Pennsylvania. Abp.
