Talk:New Martyrs of Optina Pustyn

OH MY! This page is exciting! At work, I have had over the last few months a printout of a priest who is ringing some massive bells ...everyone at work asks me questions about it all the time. Reading this article, I have found out that his name is Monk Ferapont, since the picture in this article of him ringing the bells is the exact same one as mine!! Ok ... now I can share information about him with people. Vasiliki 15:23, January 24, 2008 (PST)

Cleanup and Copyright tags

Hello Father, Greetings. I agree with the cleaup tag, the original article is quite long and was much more biographical than an encyclopedic entry; so it may be well either to remove Tatyana's original article altogether and start fresh, or else to condense/rework it, what do you think? Since permission was granted I entered it originally in order to share the information, but it does need to be more encyclopedic I agree.

As for the copyright question, I have attached the original email I received from Voice of Russia, who owns the copyright, granting permission to repost to OrthodoxWiki, so that should not be an issue. Here it is for the record:

Feel free to remove it Father if a shorter entry would be better; however if we keep it with the aim of cleaning it up, I think the copyright tag can be removed. Thanks. Chris 12:10am, January 25, 2008 (EST)
