His Eminence Alexander (Ishchein) (Russian: Александр Ищеин; 13 June 1952 – 10 June 2021) was Archbishop of Baku and Azerbaijan. Archbishop Alexander was the founding bishop of the Eparchy of Baku from 1999 to his repose as victim of the Great Pandemic in 2021.
