My life for Jesus Christ began at age 7 when I accepted His life, death and resurrection as a God sent miracle willingly.

Starting in my twenties I began to deeply contemplate and truly investigate my faith after straying significantly in my life as I still do today at times. I began by reading the Bible again but as a historical document and ancient biography, investigating popular arguments for and against a range of Christian truth claims. Comparing Christian theology and conservative politics against the backdrop of the most substantial secular progressive criticisms using academic rigor and scholarship. This involved my own analytical research into the definitions, formations, scientific nature and historicity of the means as well as the ends that each side, including my own, assumes, presents and defends. During this long process of intellectual pursuit of which I am always formulating, I joined many dogmatic online progressive, atheist and Darwinian message boards under the names of "sub_zer0", "subzero" or "Subby". I would encounter not only direct opposition, but contradictory worldviews, not looking for a meaningless rhetorical battle but a debate defending my views rationally against the logic they use to form their own. At times there was very insulting attitudes, intellectual dishonesty that was often willful and usually coupled with an overall lack of awareness in the relevant scholarship and methods dealing with the topics at hand, and still others had their own personal reasons all together.

As I continue to engage in casual discussion and earnest debate with family, friends and online forum members my worldview becomes ever-more focused. I am a political conservative that holds an Intelligent Design inference on the origin of the universe and conditions for life. Being best explained by an intelligent causal agent rather than the result of spontaneous and unguided naturalistic mechanisms. I have an open-mind on the age of the universe and age of the earth maintaining a consistent exegesis of Genesis 1 as a six-day creation and design week.

{{cquote|Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, With conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame. "Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she With silent lips.
