I am a linguistic researcher, retired from the University of Pennsylvania. I'm interested in all sorts of things, and I do a lot of editing on Wikipedia (also as thnidu, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Thnidu), mostly copyediting. I came here in researching some fixes and copyediting to the Wikipedia articles on Mount Athos and its monasteries.
