I grew up in the Evangelical church. In college I became disenfranchised with the movement and sought for a non-denominational form of Protestantism. Through the internet I encountered the Orthodox faith and was chrismated at the Cathedral of the Holy Virgin Protection in New York City (OCA) on December 13th, 2015. Almost two years later on November 30th, 2017, I was ordained/tonsured a reader by His Eminence Archbishop Michael of New York and New Jersey (OCA) at St. Andrew's Orthodox Church in Dix Hills, Long Island. In December 26th, 2022, I was married to my wife in the Metropolitan Church Agioi Anargyroi in Nea Ionia, Greece, my wife's home parish.
