A recent graduate from St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary, I am now second priest at my beloved home parish of St. Herman of Alaska Orthodox Church in Langley, BC, Canada. I never imagined this was where God would lead me - my journey to Orthodoxy from the "Plymouth Brethren" was a relatively lengthy and tumultuous one - but it's good to be "home" in every sense of the word!
My long-term hope is to establish another Orthodox mission somewhere around here in Lower Mainland BC, God willing. In the short-term, I'm struggling to pay off student loans and to get back into teaching (my secular employment) as a high-school English teacher at Maple Ridge Christian School. I enjoy reading (as you might imagine!), especially fantasy and science-fiction, writing, and setting up and developing web-sites (see the list of my sites, below), and, most commonly in my very limited time off, spending time with my wife and two children.
