Priest as Vicar

It is not uncommon for a priest to be a vicar. Aside from the WRV (which may have different terminology anyway), the head of a region in a diocese can be called a 'dean' or a 'vicar', depending on the background of the jurisdiction (Slavic or Greek, respectively). See Dimitri Tsakas, entitled 'Archdiocesan Vicar'. — edited by sτévο at 06:17, June 28, 2006 (CDT)
