Paschalion

When, in 1926 and 1929, Metropolitan Miron ordered Pascha to be celebrated according to the Gregorian Paschalion...

Is this true? I was under the impression that the CoR had only changed its fixed feast calculation, but not those connected with the Paschalion, which they still celebrated according to the Julian calculation. --Rdr. Andrew 21:56, 27 Feb 2005 (CST)

As far as I know, for a few/several years, the Easters have been celebrated according to the GregCalend, but then, because of another PanOrth Synod, the celebration has been moved to the date which we now observe. Luci83ro 14:54, July 22, 2006 (CDT)

"Saint" Glicherie

Is this man held to be a saint by anyone but the Old Cal. Ch. of Romania and/or those with whom they're in communion? --Rdr. Andrew 21:56, 27 Feb 2005 (CST)

No, Fr. Andrew, he most surely isn't. Luci83ro 14:54, July 22, 2006 (CDT)

NO! For the Romanian Orthodox Church, and all orthodox churches this men is a schismatic monk, not a saint. arthasfleo 17:19 Dec 31 2006

YES! ROCOR has glorified St Glicherie as has The Synod in Resistance.

Possible. but this glorification is still unrecognised by the Orthodox Churches. Arthasfleo 09:04, January 23, 2007 (PST)
