:Thankfully, you are correct.  As Magda noted, there is a list of Australian monasteries on this site, which includes St George in NSW and a very small article about St John of the Mountain based on the little information on the internet and a machine-translation of an article in To Vema.  Hope you are able to contribute!  oea 18:07, 6 Oct 2005 (EDT)

By the way, there is more than just one Greek Orthodox monastery in Australia. We have started building a new monastery in Western Australia St John of the Mountain (the Forerunner). Perhaps "Monasticism in Australia" would be a great introduction page to briefly mention the other monasteries, and have whole pages on each monastery. I would have to get permission from the Church in order to contribute on your pages, but I am sure if you were to contact the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese directly they would be happy to comply.

Thankfully, you are correct. As Magda noted, there is a list of Australian monasteries on this site, which includes St George in NSW and a very small article about St John of the Mountain based on the little information on the internet and a machine-translation of an article in To Vema. Hope you are able to contribute! Pistevo 18:07, 6 Oct 2005 (EDT)
