I've read in at least one or two places that St. Cassian is thought by some to have originated in Gaul rather than Romania (although I know that the ''Romanian Paterikon'' firmly claims him). Whether or not equal weight is given to both possibilities, it seems to me that the article should at least make mention of the fact a Romanian birthplace is not unanimously agreed upon.

I've read in at least one or two places that St. Cassian is thought by some to have originated in Gaul rather than Romania (although I know that the Romanian Paterikon firmly claims him).
