In the "ecclesiastical history" section there's a reference to the "First Ecumenical Council (451) concerning Constantinople as see of the emperor and senate. So is the correct reference to the First Ecumenical Council in Nicaea (which is in 325, not 451, though) or to the Fourth Ecumenical Council in Chalcedon (indeed in 451)?. I seem to recall the latter. Could you help? Thank you. Iuliana 13:37, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

:: You are most likely correct about it being Fourth Ecumenical Council in Chalcedon.  Also, it looks like this came from wikipeda and has "Council of Chalcedon". - Andy 15:48, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

Inadvertence

In the "ecclesiastical history" section there's a reference to the "First Ecumenical Council (451) concerning Constantinople as see of the emperor and senate. So is the correct reference to the First Ecumenical Council in Nicaea (which is in 325, not 451, though) or to the Fourth Ecumenical Council in Chalcedon (indeed in 451)?. I seem to recall the latter. Could you help? Thank you. Iuliana 13:37, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

You are most likely correct about it being Fourth Ecumenical Council in Chalcedon. Also, it looks like this came from wikipeda and has "Council of Chalcedon". - Andy 15:48, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
