Jeremy Driscoll, and Augustine Casiday) on Evagrius seem to exonorate him from the actual heresies traditionally ascribed to him. Would Evagrius be considered either a Church Father or a Desert Father? Also, should the article be listed as Evagrius of Pontus or Evagrius Ponticus, and the others be redirects, or should it stay as is? --magda 12:41, 2 May 2005 (CDT)

- 2. "Evangrius Ponticus" is the form most common in scholarly English works, so that's what I'd name the article.

I agree with Fr. Dn. Andrew, on both counts. Especially because new evidence and studies (fr. gabriel Bunge, Fr.
