Assistance on Article

I have marked the article as In Progress since I am doing research to find out exactly what the "Kataniktika" are ... however, I thought I might post it to see if anyone else knew they could perhaps put this information into the article and help us build it up ... from what I can understand this service is part of the Triodion prayers and has Octoechos also ... most of all I would like to find out what the purpose of this specific special hymns is, origins and development.
